Took an hour to install. Great video on You Tube for what you will need. Most important, I believe, is a wire thread cleaner and installing bolts with your fingers prior to putting up hitch. Bolts should also go in with your fingers when hitch is in place. DO NOT CROSS TREAD! Only disappointment was box was severely damaged and UPS used clear take to patch three torn areas. Back of receiver was exposed and damaged but no one will see it. Front of receiver was fine. Perfect fit!
No bolts came with hitch. I called and Joy t said she would send them.
Excellent product and super support - especially the installation video with its helpful suggestions on how to work around some of the removable panels under my car. Fits like a glove!

the item comes on time as it described on the order form. the delivery tracking is very accurate and right on time. the installation instructions is simple and easy to follow. this hitch fits hyundai tucson sel 2024 very well. got all 5 fastest in with simple hand turns, but the last bolt took a it more persuading. overall, it is very simple install.

Great item. The fit was perfect for my 2023 Sportage after a little jacking on either side for proper hole alignment (due I think to whatever Kia applies to the vehicle subframe as a protectant). The receiver is well hidden under the vehicle when not in use, but is still poistioned perfectly for a four-bike hitch carrier. The matte finish is preferable to other manufacturers' gloss finish and complements my Sportages's matte finish as well. A+!

No issues after one year.
I installed on a 2024 Kia Sportage in July 2024. I'm too old to muscle the hitch around, so I used jack stands and a jack to raise it up. The screws went in easy. One bonus from doing it myself is I had the time to trim the plastic panel and keep it. It will protect the wires behind the bumoer cover from getting wet.
Hitch works great. It did arrive damage though. The box it was put it was not big enough so the hitch tore through it easily and was exposed. It was damaged in several locations while being delivered. I know it is not etrailers fault for damage during delivery, but this could have easily been avoided if they shipped in a box that fit the item.etrailer did assist me with when I reach out to them. Crazy fast response time and very helpful.
Installed as advertised. It took us longer to get the plastic panels off than it did to install the hitch, which wasn't long at all. Great product.
I needed an excuse to own a torque wrench so this DIY project fit the bill. Installation was definitely a two person job, and we fought with the fit for a bit but ultimately had success. If I remember correctly we had to remove some plastic shield piece (2023 Tucson) and never put it back. A year later I'm embarrassed to say we haven't actually hauled anything with it, but the side loops comes in handy as dog leash clips for outdoor corralling, ha.

You will just be prepared cause the hitch will be there when you need it, Mel. And in the mean time, it will help keep your doggo from wondering into something. At least that's what my family dog would be doing if left unattended.
Staff was very helpful via their Chat feature to help me select correct hitch. Received the hitch quickly. The installation was very easy and the fit was perfect. I was a little concerned when the hitch was delivered as a section of the hitch was sticking outside of the box. Fortunately, there was no damage/scratches on the hitch.
Got this for our 2023 Sportage LX hybrid. The install was about what I expected - tricky with the hitch being so heavy, but I did it by myself. I did use a floor jack to hold up one side while getting it screwed in, and it certainly would be easier with other people to help. The hitch itself hides away very nicely once installed, and it's worked great the few times we've used it. I intended to go back afterwards and try to get the plastic trim panel back in there, but it's a very tight fit and I know it will require some trimming to get it to work so I haven't hassled with it yet. Overall, kit worked great, price was great, and I would not hesitate to buy from etrailer again.
Although box was damaged on delivery, the product was in perfect shape without even a scratch. Installation was straightforward and I only needed to clean out the threads for mounting. Product looks great and works well. Great value for the money.
Easy installation on a 2025 Hyundai Tucson hybrid. The video was extremely helpful. My wife and I completed the install in ~1-hr. No wire brush or thread chase required, just a spray of WD40 on each bolt prior to dry fitting.
Perfect fit on our 2025 Kia Sportage. Installation was trouble free and only took 30 minutes.
Well made - was not damaged in shipment even though box punched through by hitch in several places. Very easy to install and fits perfectly! 3 bolts each side. The lower bolt holds the hitch up while putting in the other 4. Good quality.
Got it in a couple of days and with the help of a friend we installed it in less than 30 minutes. Had to use an extender for proper installation of the bike rack due to the model of my car but everything works together very well.
Hitch is still working great after one year. We only use it for the bike rack, but no issues.
Great Trailer Hitch… it was very easy to install onto my 26 Kia Sportage!

Haven’t had to use it yet but my carrier fits perfectly.
The fit was perfect and the video instructions were easy to follow. I installed it by myself laying on my back. Not the easiest way but it worked. Block up one side and lift the other into place. I did have to push the exhaust off of its mounting hook (just a rubber hanger) to make room to fit the one side. It slides back on when the hitch is in place. Not a big deal but it wasn't mentioned in the video. Very happy with the hitch!
Solid product. Sits a little low on a Kia Sportage. Had to flip the tongue extender upside down to pull a small canoe trailer. Overall good product and easy installation for someone who isn't a mechanic.
Hitch looks great but I can’t install it without hardware. Box was barely holding in the hitch so I’m guessing the hardware fell out and is somewhere in the backside of a UPS truck. Was hoping for replacement hardware before I went on vacation with my bikes on a hitch mounted rack but had to change plans when it didn’t show up as promised. Send replacement hardware please and I’ll see how I feel once it’s actually mounted.
This trailer hitch was a perfect fit for my Kia Sportage. Instructions were simple and worked well. I used a jack to hold one side in place while bolting in the other side. Not necessary but kept it simple. It did take a couple tries to get those hole to line up just right. I even messed around with a Dremel and cut the bottom splash guard so it could fit around the hitch and be replaced. Also not necessary but kind of fun.

Excellent product. I have used it for a bike rack, flat storage rack, and pulled a rental trailer. Very easy to install.
