Hello! I have a 2021 Subaru crosstrek with a manual transmission. I need to outfit the car to be towed flat behind my truck. What parts do I need to get this accomplished?

To flat tow your 2021 Subaru Crosstrek with manual transmission, you will need at least 5 main parts. Those parts are a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring and a supplemental braking system. I have listed these parts below, in an option that is compatible with your Crosstrek.
Base Plate Kit: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-52927-5
Tow Bar: Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-522
Safety Cables: RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643
Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
Supplemental Braking System: Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System # BLU37TR
- also need the 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332 for the braking system
Depending on the height difference between your truck and Crosstrek, you may also need a high-low adapter. I have included a help article that goes over how to determine this.
