Recommended Flat Towing Set Up for a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek

I am looking at getting a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek and I am needing options for flat towing parts. I want to haul this behind my motorhome.

There are a couple of options to flat tow the 2023 Crosstrek depending on what transmission you have. If you have an automatic transmission you will need to use a tow dolly like item # DM9713093. The automatic transmission equipped Crosstrek's can not be towed four wheels down. You'll need to use a tow dolly or a trailer.
If your 2023 Subaru Crosstrek has a manual transmission, you will need the following parts to flat tow it:
Tow Bar and Safety Chains - Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar item # RM-520 and item # RM-643
Base Plate Kit - Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms item # RM-52927-5
Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267
Supplemental Braking System - SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251 or item # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes
High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have attached a picture below of what this base plate looks like once installed. I have also linked the instructions and whatever installation videos we may have for the parts recommended.
