Your 2022 Chevrolet Traverse will need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # CU29FR. This is a custom fit receiver with a 2" receiver opening for ball mounts and hitch mounted accessories. I recommend installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118287 when you install the receiver. This will give you a 7-way which you can use with a Curt Echo # C51180 brake controller if you need to tow a trailer with electric brakes. Otherwise you can use an Adapter # PK12716 with smaller trailers requiring a 4-way flat connector.
