Does The Draw-Tite Hitch for the 2020 Chevy Traverse require drilling?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit part # CU94FR for the 2020 Chevy Traverse does not require drilling. However, it requires temporary removal of bumper/fascia during installation. The exhaust must be temporarily lowered for installation, and the installation requires permanent removal of the impact structure, as the hitch replaces the impact structure for support and safety.
The hitch receiver can be covered by the bumper panel when not in use. I have attached the installation instructions and an installation video on a 2020 Traverse for your reference . This may seem like a tedious process, but the cross tube of the hitch is concealed to give it a nice OEM look after it's installed compared to the other options where the cross tube is visible.
