This hitch keeps things tidy. The main body hides behind the bumper, so only the 2" receiver is visible when you’re towing or carrying gear. When it’s not in use, the receiver sits cleanly under the vehicle for an OEM-style appearance. You get a solid Class III hitch that blends in instead of standing out.
Whether you’re towing a small trailer or carrying bikes, this hitch is built for it. It’s rated for 5,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 750 lbs tongue weight, and it’s compatible with a weight distribution hitch rated at 5,000 lbs WD GTW and 750 lbs WD TW. The square-tube design and precision robotic welds keep it sturdy and tight-fitting through repeated use.
The fully welded receiver bolts directly to the vehicle frame using factory mounting points. No welding or drilling means you can install it in your driveway with standard tools. It includes a complete hardware kit and clear instructions, so you can get it mounted and ready for towing or accessories without special equipment.
The gloss black powder coat finish sits on top of a rust-resistant liquid Bonderite base coating, protecting the hitch inside and out. That two-layer protection helps prevent corrosion from road salt, moisture, and rough weather so it stays looking sharp and strong season after season.

I confirmed with the manufacturer that the 2020 and 2021 model should fit this hitch the same.

While the Traverse is not our primary trailer hauler, the hitch has worked perfectly with small single axle trailers and has been used on a few occasions to put our boat in and out of the lake. Due to the location of the hitch, the Traverse needs a drawbar with most small trailers. The adjustable type is what we use. Works great. Still amazed that the Chevy dealer wanted $700 to install a hitch. Its a simple task and can be done in a couple hours on a Saturday.
