Question:
I have a 2023 Venza and I need to add a 4 pole connector to power my trailer lights. What do you recommend? Prefer plug and play. TIA

Expert Reply:
I recommend installing the Curt T-Connector # C57ER on your 2023 Toyota Venza because it tees in behind the tail lights as opposed to splicing into the OEM wiring like universal options do. The only spliced connection you have to make with this wiring is running the 12V power lead up to your vehicle battery so the trailer lights are powered that way instead of through your OEM circuits.
You'll also want to pick up the mounting brackets # C57202 and # BK4F so you can keep the 4-Way near your hitch receiver as opposed to draping it over your bumper and closing the hatch on it when you need to use the wiring.
