Question:
I am needing to replace older candescent bulbs with LED on my boat trailer. Previously had: Wesbar 105826 saeaip2st-dot-94 I see some replacements for that light on this site BUT wanted to know if I need to rewire the entire trailer since switching to LED? Or can the new LED lights just plug and play? Thank you in advance!

Expert Reply:
No, you should not need to rewire your whole trailer just to switch to LED lights. Unless you get into doing the swap and discover your wiring is damaged, it should be as easy as mounting the new lights and wiring them in.
The LED Tail Light # STL37RB (driver side) and LED Tail Light # STL36RB (passenger side) are great choices to replace your Wesbar 105826 lights. These lights are submersible and splice into your wiring in place of your old lights.
