it seems I have a boat trailer that has a broken LED tail light that is no longer made and has a very specific contour. There also doesn’t seem to be another option out there, can you confirm? I have a Wesbar 271594. Thank you!

Hey Rick. Unfortunately that's correct the Wesbar Tail Light 271594 has been discontinued. Our best option for replacing it is the LED Trailer Tail Light item # STL36RB for the passenger side and item # STL37RB for the driver side.
The Wesbar light is about 7" long x 3-3/4" tall x 3" deep. These Optronics lights are 7-7/8" long x 3-1/4" tall x 2-7/8" deep, so they are slightly longer than the old lights but they should fit nicely in the same area. These lights have a Sonically sealed, waterproof housing so they are perfect for a boat trailer.

Hi Jerred, I have a 18’ Hewescraft that’s on an EZ Loader trailer. They have a somewhat flexible plastic housing that bolts on around the light, my concern is with the new lights being nearly 1” longer that they won’t fit in the stock covers. As it is now, I’d say there’s probably around 3/8” of clearance between the plastic cover and the light itself.
