Question:

Hello. I have a 2021 Toyota Highlander xse model. I’ve been doing some research and it looks like the C99FR hitch seems to be the one I’m looking for but not 100 percent sure. Any help would appreciate it.

The Curt # C99FR Class III hitch you mentioned would work great with your Highlander XSE. Keep in mind, if the vehicle is equipped with the What are you planning on using the hitch for? If you'll just use it for a hitch mounted accessory, all you need is the hitch. If you'll be using it for towing, you'll need a wiring harness, a ball mount and a trailer ball.

For a wiring harness, what you'll use will depend on whether your vehicle is equipped with the factory tow package. If you DO have the tow package, use # TK74FR. If you don't have the tow package, use a hardwired option like # C59236. For a ball mount, use # 2923 and # 40038 for a 2 inch trailer ball or # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
