Question:
I have a 2002 Toyota Tundra that does NOT have the factory tow package. I need a wiring harness that will allow me to convert it to a 4-pole flat connector that will fit my small trailer. Can you tell me which harness I need? Thanks!

Since your 2002 Toyota Tundra does not have the factory towing package you will need to install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C55378. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your Tundra's existing wiring harness behind the rear bumper. It will be on the driver's side frame rail. It will provide you with a 4-way connector to control your trailer's lights.
We had a 2002 Tundra in the shop awhile back and I have included an installation video below of the Curt item # C55378 being installed.
Some other parts you will need to tow a trailer are listed below:
Trailer Hitch - etrailer Hitch item # e87KR
Ball Mount - Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534
