Can Two Sets of Mount-n-Lock SafetyStruts Standard RV Bumper Support Brackets Be Used on Same Bumper

Question:
Will one set of the struts be sufficient or is two sets recommended , one to go on on each side of the frame rail? Or just singularly to just one side of the frame rail? To support the bumper.

It's possible to use two sets of the Mount-n-Lock SafetyStruts Standard RV Bumper Support Brackets part # MO22FR but you might need to alter the hardware or instructions slightly. That said, it's not needed nor would it produce a higher capacity as the manufacturer does not test nor have they with two plates per side. If it gives you more peace of mind however then I say go for it. Thankfully, the owner of Mount-n-Lock is very cool when it comes to stuff like this and he even said himself you could add two plates per side if you wanted but modifications may be needed and it would not increase capacity.
