Question:
I’d like to install a couple morryde X factor crossmembers part number MR33WR on my trailer. I see the minimum adjustment is 61”. My trailer is about 60” wide. Is it possible to make the crossmember fit this narrower width by making some adjustments at home? Thanks

Hey Collin. If by adjustments you mean drilling new mounting holes, then yes but I don't recommend that. The MORryde X-Factor Crossmember item # MR33WR is designed specifically to fit lengths of 61" - 79-1/2" between the spring hangers. It's got predrilled holes and adding new ones is at the very least going to void the warranty but you could affect the structural integrity of the crossmember itself.
Short of making your trailer wider I don't know how else you would make the MORryde item # MR33WR fit. I wish I had an alternative solution for you that does not require modification but I do not.
The MORryde X-Factor Crossmember item # MR33WR is designed specifically for MORryde CRE, SRE, or stock suspension system. It is sold individually and includes the necessary mounting hardware.

I installed the crossmembers and the CRE 3000 with wet bolts. I see no issue with trimming the length of the crossmembers to fit and drilling holes as required. your trailer is narrow and the springs are probably narrower than on my trailer. The new wet bolts may not extend out beyond the nuts when tightened, as they should. I talked with the factory about this and also a rep at a RV show and both said I had the correct bolts. I was not completely comfortable with what I felt were short bolts but I used them. I strongly recommend using RED LOCTITE ON THE WET BOLT THREADS. In general I am very pleased with the installation and would purchase them again. -+
