Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Aluminum Viking Series Valhalla Black Spoke Trailer Wheel. Now this wheel is built for those who actually put their trailers to work. This is not just for looks, although this wheel does look great. This is rated for 3,540 pounds.
So it's more than capable for handling those heavier loads without feeling like you're pushing the limits. Now one of the biggest advantages is the material. This is made from aluminum, which means it won't rust like traditional steel wheels, and that's a big deal if you're around moisture, road salt or you're launching in and out of the water. On top of that, this wheel has a protective clear coating on both sides, so it's gonna hold up really well over time without pitting or flaking. And this is not just about durability, as I mentioned, it looks sharp.
The Viking Series Valhalla design has these great looking black spokes and so it's going to look great on your trailer. It's going to give it a clean, bold upgrade instead of that plane utilitarian look that most wheels have. Now, where this wheel really does stand out is in the details. If you notice here, this does have steel inserts in the lug nut holes here, and that's important because aluminum alone could wear over time. So these steel inserts are gonna keep the lug nuts tight, help maintain proper torque, and make sure that the wheel stays securely seated.
So it means less maintenance and more confidence when you're going down the road. Fitment is pretty straightforward as well. Our diameter is 16 inches, the width is 6 inches. We walk you through how you can measure that bolt pattern to make sure that you're getting the wheel that's gonna work with your particular trailer. The lug nuts size is gonna be half an inch by 20. And if you notice, I don't see this a lot with wheels, but this does include a center cap. Our pilot diameter is 4.25 inches and includes that center cap that's going to fit right in there. I have the TA75FR wheels and the wheels are great. Have received compliments on their looks but the center caps do show a little rust which I have tried to clean up.

Still rolling! I had a brief break down. Under the loads carried by ANY rim while towing, I have had two completely different brands, one Fuel and one Taskmaster, crack. There were NOT catastrophic but small cracks along the centerline. I believe this is a manufacturing casting process weakness. All that said, both times, for both wheels, they were fully covered under warranty, no problems and quick turnaround. The hardest part was putting on the spare tire. I am confident these wheels are good and have probably proved that. Both times road hazards may have been the true issue. Potholes are hazardous to heavy loads. Although I cannot prove this, I am more vigilant for road hazards. We full time RV and rely upon working wheels. I would buy these anytime. They look good. These Taskmaster wheels have one of the highest load ratings available.
