Question:

2010 chevy cobalt battery is located in the trunk.i want to hook up demco charge line kit to postive post under hood.that where the postive battery cable come from battery in trunk.

In regards to the Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Wire Kit for Demco Supplemental Braking Systems part # DM66VR, we must recommend you attach the power wire directly to the battery. Therefore, if the battery is in the truck you would likely need to extend the wire to reach back there as this kit is mainly designed for vehicles where the battery is in the front. In order to do this you'd need some extra 14 gauge wire, the part # DW07550-1 which is sold by the foot.

It's possible that you can hook the charge line to the jump post under the hood but we can't recommend this.
