For the Etrailer Hitch for a 2023 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport w/o Lift gate sensor, do you use a Draw-Tite or Curt?

The etrailer Hitch item # e98848 is made by Curt. However, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C13397 for your 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your CR-V with included hardware. It fits all models of the CR-V including your hybrid.

I really like the Curt hitch because the crosstube installs behind your rear bumper cover which completely hides it. This leaves only the 2" receiver visible. This not only looks better but it helps with ground clearance.

The Curt Hitch is made in the USA and the Draw-Tite one is not. Curt puts out a better quality hitch. They have identical capacities and Draw-Tite is typically more expensive so you would be overpaying for a lower quality part.

I have attached a couple of pictures below along with an installation video so you can see what the Curt item # C13397 looks like once installed.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56370 if your CR-V is all-wheel drive or the item # C59236 if it is only front wheel drive. and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
