Question:

Hi, i need to replace my front AC unit, current model is a Airxcel 48000 series. I would like to go with a Furrion in unit that will work with factory thermostats. My TV is 2018 Jayco 321 RSTS. Can you recumbent.. Id like to get a heat pump version as well. my current does not have the heat pump heater. thanks kirk

I have a replacement option that'll work for you, but Furrion doesn't make an RV air conditioner with a heat pump.

Instead you'd need the Furrion # FR82PV which has the same 13,500 BTU rating, and is compatible with the add on heat strip # FR35SR which will help to knock the chill out of the air, but won't really work like a furnace (though neither does a heat pump).

This will be a direct replacement for the rooftop unit you currently have, the Airxcel 48000, and will allow you to keep your current thermostat and air distribution box.
