Question:
Building a 57 Chevy Belair to pull a small vintage trailer. I have a hitch installed, but thats it. Could you please put together a complete electrical package with a brake controller I need to accommodate a trailer. Trailer has a 7 pin plug with electric brakes. Trailer is just under 4k lbs. Thank you!

I do have some options for you though none are specific to the vehicle due to the oddity. That said, most of these kits are universal anyhow so there really shouldn't be much of an issue. In order to start off you'd need a converter harness, the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter part # C59236 would be a great choice. This can then be converted into a 7-way using the RV Trailer Connector Adapter part # ETBC7 which will then provide you with the rest of the stuff you need for a brake controller for which I recommend the Tekonsha BRAKE-EVN Trailer Brake Controller part # TK63VR.
