Can Firestone Air Bags F2558 On 2019 Nissan Frontier Support Weight Of Axle When Jacking Vehicle?

Question:
Hi - I just installed these on my 2019 Nissan Frontier. So far so good. Can this set of airbags support the weight of the axle + wheels when lifting the truck ? I jacked up the truck by the chassis. but it seemed like the airbags were stretching beyond their limits while supporting the rear axle. Is this safe ?

Yes, Firestone airbags such as the # F2558 you have installed on your 2019 Nissan Frontier can support the weight of the wheels and axle. This is due to Firestone using a roll crimp that holds the endplate to the rubber.
With that said, if you'll be leaving the truck like that for an extended period of time like a day or two, I'd still go ahead and use jackstands to support the weight of the axle anyways, but that's more of a personal preference.
