Today we're gonna take a look at the Americana 15 Inch by 6 Inch AM06 Series Black Machined Aluminum Trailer Wheel with the six on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now this is an aluminum wheel. It's durable, lightweight, and rust-proof. And we mention it's the AM06 Series wheel, which you can see is a six open-spoke design.
Has a nice glossy black finish with the machine finish on the face of the spokes, provides a nice, bold, sleek look. Now they do use a clear coating on both the front and even the back of the wheel to help protect the finish. And if you notice on this wheel, it does not come with the center cap. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately on our website. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll have the same diameter as this pilot hole 'cause when you install that center cap, it's gonna go through this hole.
The pilot hole diameter right here is 3.74 inches. Now the rim dimensions themselves, the diameter, which is always gonna be measured inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat, you can see if we put our tape measure on it, there's your 15 inch measurement. The diameter, the width is gonna be the same way, inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat. There's your six inch width. And the bolt pattern on this wheel is a six on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern.
And if you wanna measure that on a wheel like this, that's an even number of lugs, in this case, 6, it's pretty simple because the lug holes, if you notice, are directly across from each other. So if you measure the bolt pattern, pick any hole, let's say this one, measure from the center of this lug hole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it. On this wheel, it'll measure 5-1/2 inches. So that'll tell you this is a six lug 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. It does use a wheel lug size of the half inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,960 pounds.
