How can I unlock the steering wheel without draining the battery? I have a 2008 Jeep liberty.

In regards to flat-towing a 2008 Jeep Liberty, the battery must be disconnected to prevent drain per the owner's manual. In order to do this, I recommend using the Roadmaster Battery Disconnect part # RM-766 since it allows for this to be done with the flick of a switch, no tools needed and you can do it from inside the cab. Please note, there are specific steps you'll need to follow for setting up the vehicle to be flat-towed, you can find these starting on page 378 of the owner's manual. I have also attached for you below some other stuff you'll need.
