When you want your vehicle to keep a clean look while not towing, this setup fits the bill. The hidden design keeps brackets from sticking out past the front end for a seamless, factory-style finish. Each arm removes with a simple twist, and receiver covers plug into the openings to keep dirt and debris out while giving the base plate a finished look.
Getting ready to tow is simple. Insert each arm into the receiver, twist until it locks into place, and secure it with the pin. When you’re done, pull the pin, rotate the arm, and remove it. This quick-connect system makes hooking up or disconnecting fast and reliable no matter where you are.
This base plate bolts directly to your chassis with no welding required. Its sturdy steel construction spreads the towing force evenly to help prevent stress on your suspension. The powder coat finish resists rust and corrosion so you can count on it through long trips and all kinds of weather.
The straightforward installation design makes this kit approachable for DIYers. It bolts securely to your chassis using the included mounting hardware—no welding needed. Integrated mounting points let you attach an electrical connector plug bracket (sold separately) so everything stays organized up front.
This setup pairs directly with Blue Ox tow bars for a secure fit. If your gear uses a different brand, it’s adaptable for use with Roadmaster tow bars (adapter RM-031 or RM-031-5 sold separately) or Demco tow bars (adapter DM9523041 sold separately). The distance between brackets is 20" with a bracket height of 17-1/2", so your setup can be planned around those exact specs.

Quality product. Install was easy enough to do yourself. Very happy with it.
Rock solid hitch. I was impressed with its heaviness and structure. I agree it is surprisingly easy to install and should take 20 minutes after getting it out of the box and all the tools ready. Although I did it by myself, it really is a two person job since one needs to hold it in place while the other puts in the bolts. The color pictures made it a no-brainer as far as instructions go --- very nice touch that I wish other companies would do. Unfortunately, I ran into a big problem that I hadn't expected and everyone should anticipate. It added two hours to the job. After years of being exposed to the elements, the threaded bolt holes in my 2010 Jeep frame were very rusty. After using PB Blaster and a tiny wire brush, I was finally able to install the bolts with a whole lot of brute force and a 4' breaker bar! Of course, this does not reflect on the product in any way...it's really an impressive piece of hardware. By the way, no one beat etrailer's price.
We were on the road for four months and 10,000 miles, everything good! Easy hook-up and no problems.

Excellent customer service. Chris was very helpful in authorizing an RGA for a Roadmaster tow bar assembly (mounting plate and tow bar) and quickly recommending a Blue Ox equivalent assembly. The Blue Ox assembly was installed without any complications. Having been a customer service manager for twenty years before I retired, I must say that Chris is well qualified for his position.
It was a great looking piece of hardware, is sturdy built and of a goog grade steel fits perfectly and has all the right hardware.this is my second purchase from etrailer and I haven’t been disappointed in the products or service I have received.

Great, no problems with it, if you install it to specs you will have no worries, I have put around 6,000 miles on it with no problem.
Well built and easy to fit
Solid, well built base plate. The installation was easy once all the bumper cowlings were removed. I got the one over the Roadmaster because it has the removable pins instead of the crossbar for connecting to the towbar.
I've bought at least one other product from etrailer in addition to the base plate for my 2008 Jeep Liberty. The plate and appurtenances fit like a glove and work great. etrailer had the best price and, as before, kept me informed about when the product would be delivered and delivered on time. Great company.
