It was a little harder than I expected but got it done.
Easy install. Have had no issues since I installed a year ago.
Not an easy task of course. I've done a 2006 Liberty once before, so I was somewhat familiar with the installation. The directions were great and installation went well. Only the finder flare rivets were a problem because I did not have a plastic rivet tool and there were none available near here. I had to use vise grips, a pair of pliers with a small grip hole at the end and a foot. Gotter done, Thanks for the prompt delivery.

I finaly got around to mounting the EZ tow mount on my 2009 Jeep Liberty after receiving it over a month ago. The written instructions were very detailed and I also watched a U-tube video showing the installation on a 2012 Liberty. All the parts were there and every thing "bolted up" as advertised. The only issue I had was a weld on the inside of the square tube for one of the long bolts kept me from getting a socket on that bolt. A littel work with a file and that was taken care of. I have yet to tow the vehicle behind my MH yet but I don't think there will be any problems.
Install them on a 2006 Jeep Liberty , Installation was as explained in directions and not very difficult. However I was both a master auto body mechanic and and above average auto mechanic with 40 years in the trade. I do believe that the average person can handle this by flowing the instructions and using common senses.
I put these base plates on a 2012 Jeep Liberty Sport, works great, instructions were good, model pacific.

Still working fine hadnt fell off yet
Base plate was delivered on time and in good condition. Directions were very clear and fairly easy to install. My son helped me.Its easier with 2people. The light kit was also easy. We ran the 4 flat wire through the firewall driver side .We found a rubber gromet near the top and popped out. We ran the wire under the plastic trimon bottom of door all the way to compartment for jack to tailight assembly. We drilled hole in bottom circle of light to accept light and then under rear bumper and up other side to right assembly.Wired according to instructions. They work great. I like the ease of taking the hitch off when not in use. Thank you for everything.
All though I have not had time to install these base plates and wiring, the service from Etrailer so far has been excellent. Parts ordered came very quickly and the order was complete.

Great. The tow bar base plates worked perfectly. Installation was a breeze.
The entire system from the frame mounts on our jeep to the wiring and the tow bar assembly was as stated correctly for our fit needs and fit excellent. etrailer was great to work with and always there when called for help. I will strongly recommend them to anyone needing towing set-ups or parts. Thanks Meghan M. for you help from start to finish. Job well done.
