Install Video for Brake Lite Relay for 2024 Ford Maverick

Question:
Installing the brake light relay on 2024 ford maverick instructions say to locate the 2 wires coming from the vehicle brake light switch. On the maverick there are 2 purple and white wires. Video by Ryan says to cut the 2 wires. However the BRL schematic only shows connection for 1 wire. Exactly how do I connect the Blue wire and the coach link wire to the brake switch and then the black wire to the other end of the brake switch wire. Do I twist the 2 purple and white wires together?

Hey Karl, I would recommend following along with the install video I attached for the Roadmaster Brake Lite relay part # RM-88400 as it shows it installed on your 2024 Ford Maverick. It looks like we had to use a slightly different wiring configuration than what's in the standard diagram. It looks like he detailed the install process pretty well but he uses butt end connectors.
