How Much Space Is There Between The Vertical Uprights Of The Buyers Products Truck Bed ladder Rack

Question:

I own a 2013 Ford F-350 Super Duty extended cab with an 8foot bed. I am wanting to add top mounted side rail toolboxes. I need to know what the measurement is between the vertical uprights on the rack is so I will know what length of toolbox to purchase.

Expert Reply:

I spoke with Buyers Products about the Buyers Products Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Rear Window Guard # BP69FR they stated the space between the uprights is approximately 73". There are welded on tie-down brackets that stick out approximately 3"- 4" on both sides you'd be limited to roughly 65"- 67" of space for the toolboxes.
