How Much Height Will etrailer Over-The-Cab Ladder Rack Add to Ford F-350

Question:

What is the overall height above the cab after mounting? I have to go into parking garages and the average height is seven foot. I just want to make sure that I won’t be scraping or tearing it off. I have a 2022 F350 Super Duty with an 8 foot bed.

Hey Lloyd!

I'm not able to get you the exact height the etrailer Over-The-Cab Ladder Rack # e78FV is going to sit above your F-350's cab only because this rack fits a lot of different truck configurations and we haven't been able to take that measurement on them all, but I CAN tell you that the rack's overall height is right at 32-7/8". So what you can do (I know it's not the most ideal answer) is grab a tape measure and take that 32-7/8" measurement vertically up from the Ford's bed rails. Add that to your ground to bed rail height and you'll see what the overall height will be with the rack installed. Hopefully it's shorter than 7 feet...

On my 2002 Tundra the height above the cab is 12".
