Will this Replacement Battery Charger for Bright Way Trailer Breakaway Kit - 0.5 Amp Item # 3802349 Work to maintain a battery for a winch that is mounted on an equipment trailer? If so would you just use the 2 red wires and not the blue wire? As it is not going to be tied to a break away system.

I have a solution for you but the Replacement Battery Charger Trailer Breakaway Kit item # 3802349 doesn't have enough power to charge your winch's battery. Instead you will want to use the CTEK MULTI US 7002 12-Volt Universal Battery Charger item # CTEK56353.
