Can Replacement Charger for Curt Soft Trac # C52025 Work without Blue Wire Connected

Question:
I purchased the Curt 52025 charger for a small battery on my trailer. Its not a breakaway battery so theres no switch. Will this still work as a trickle charger if the blue wire is not connected to anything?
