Is this model AC controller FACW10ESSA-BL an updated version to replace the horribly located sensor in the ceiling unit. Current controller is FACW10SA-BL

Hi Bryce, I have the same problem. I’ve heard that Furrion has and updated thermostat to help when in heat mode the heat never shuts off when it’s in the 30’s F as the temp sensor is reading what amounts to the outside temp inside the overhead AC unit. Your reply didn’t really answer this persons question. Is this the thermostat that Furrion uses to resolve our issues?

@BradH I spoke with Furrion and they said the temperature sensor on the thermostat body of # FR33PR is strictly for heat mode. If the rooftop unit is being used and the AC is running, then the room temperature sensor coming off the control box in the return air will still be in use.
