Ordered the AC from her based on the shipping date and that their website said it would be delivered by Tuesday 5/16 when I placed the order. The item shipped and the same day for h to e most part but then the date randomly changed from Tuesday to Friday. Very different dates. There was no delay on the UPS side, the e-trailer website and staff just use wrong dates to get the sale. Had to have someone go to the house twice to pickup the item and move inside since they also shipped some parts via USPS.

  • Replacement AC for a Forest River 5th Wheel Trailer w/a 13,500 btu AC System
Hello Lynda! I checked online and it looks like your 2013 Forest River Salem Lite 356QBQ comes from the factory with a ducted 13,500 btu AC system. I could not find what specific brand or model you have. If you're just trying to replace the air conditioner itself, the Furrion item # FR82PV you were looking at is only going to work if you currently have a Coleman AC system. The EPA mandated a refrigerant change at the beginning of 2025, which made your AC system incompatible with anything...

  • Recommended Replacement AC for a Dometic 57915541
Hey Eugene, thanks for the information. To replace your Dometic 57915541 ac unit you'll need to replace the entire system. We found in recent years that the functions on the connectors do not match up with different systems and you'll void the warranty on your new AC unit if you mix and match brands. Additionally, none of the newer units are compatible with the older Dometic air boxes because all of the old R410A units and their parts are being phased out. Not only will replacing your...

  • Why Would New Furrion RV AC Unit Leak Fluid into RV After Install
Hey Robert, what is most likely going on is that your drain line is clogged and is preventing the condensation from being able to drain from the unit and is then in turn making the water leak into your RV. This problem is not a common problem for us as it's not an issue we can control.

  • Recommended Replacement AC Unit for a Jayco Jay Flight 26BHS
Hey Kathie, thanks for reaching out! The 13.5K Btu Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR25TD is an excellent choice to replace the AC on your Jayco Jay Flight 26BHS. I really like the reliability and performance of the Chill HE units, so I know you'll definitely be happy with the results! Are you planning on installing the new AC unit, or are you going to have a shop do it?

  • Replacement AC for Dometic Penguin on 2003 Holiday Rambler
Hi Lg; all of the AC systems switched to the R32 refrigerant this year because of the 2025 EPA regulations. Since parts aren't backwards compatible, you will need a complete replacement. Our Advent Air systems have the best price but you won't be able to get any of them quickly because it's that time of year when we're selling most of the AC stock. The next best thing right now is the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 13,500 Btu - Black - R32 # FR25TD. However,...

  • Difference Between Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner Systems FR85TD And FR25TD
Hi Allen! There are a couple differences between the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Multi Zone - 13,500 Btu - Black - R32 # FR85TD and Single Zone - 13,500 Btu - Black - R32 # FR25TD. Both use the same Air Distribution Box # FR68TD and Chill HE RV Roof Air Conditioner Unit # FR38TD, but I have the other parts broken down below: Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Multi Zone - 13,500 Btu - Black - R32 # FR85TD -Multi Zone Controller for Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner...

  • What Is The Startup Wattage For The Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System FR25TD?
Hello Michael, the Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR25TD can pull approximately 3,500 watts for a brief second during start up, which would be right at 29.67 amps. The running power is around 15 amps.

  • AC Unit Add-On Recommendation for a 2022 Keystone Hideout Bedroom
Hey Doug, thanks for reaching out! If you're wanting to add a second AC unit to your Keystone, then you will need a whole standalone kit as there aren't any kits that will tie into your existing Dometic unit. For your application, I recommend the Furrion Chill HE 13,500 Btu kit which comes in White # FR35TD or Black # FR25TD and includes the AC unit, Air distribution box, single zone controller, and the thermostat as well. These kits use the new R32 refrigerant which is being required...

  • Parts Needed to Add Wall Thermostat to Manual Furrion FACR13HESA-BL
Hey Mitchell! What kind of trailer do you have? It may be possible to make this conversion but we no longer have all of the required parts. You will need the thermostat # FR33PR, controller # FR43PR, and then a new air distribution box (ADB). Since everything switched this year to the new R32 refrigerant the old ADB was discontinued and is no longer available/in stock. You might be able to get one from Furrion directly if they still have some so it is worth checking. If you can't get...

  • Recommended AC System to Replace a Vent Fan in a Toy Hauler
Yes, it will Mike! The Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System item # FR25TD installs in a 14" x 14" cutout. This 13,500 btu unit comes with a ductless air distribution box and a thermostat. Do you know if your toy hauler has a prewire for a 3rd ac unit? Some of them do.

  • Upgraded AC System to Replace a Older Dometic AC
Hey Angela! To upgrade your Dometic AC, I recommend the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System item # FR25TD in black or item # FR95TD in white. These complete systems come with everything you'll need to replace your older Dometic AC. They'll work in ducted or ductless setups and include an air distribution box and a thermostat. They fit in the same size cutout and will use your existing wiring for installation. If you don't need a thermostat, the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner...

  • Is it Good Idea to Use SoftStart with Furrion Chill HE RV AC Unit
Hey Riley, a Softstart like the part # SSR54FR would be a solid option to use with the Furrion Chill HE part # FR25TD. Or another option that I think makes more sense would be the Furrion Chill Cube part # FR99TD which has a SoftStart basically built into it so that you get the lower amperage draw without needing an additional component. This is also the coldest blowing option out there and is considerably quieter than the Chill HE.
