Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement Single Zone Controller for your Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner setup that has the R-32 refrigerant. Now this part here will replace the single zone controller that's on your Furion Chill HE air conditioning setup. It is compatible with all size rooftop units. And again, one note I do wanna mention is this controller is not backwards compatible with any AC systems from 2024 and earlier that use the R-410A refrigerant.
This controller here works with AC units using the new R-32 refrigerant. That meets the 2025 EPA regulations. Now the zone controller, this let you control the temperature inside your RV. It offers short cycle protection to ensure your RV reaches its temperature set point. Has a sleep setting to keep your RV cool at night while saving power and reducing noise.
And it offers an automatic restart, which will restore most recent settings after power interruption. You can see it does include the mounting hardware. A few dimensions on this, the length, you can see what the mounting bracket gives you an overall length of about 12 inches long. The height from the bottom here to the very top is about three and one eight inches tall. And the electrical rating on this is 115 volts AC, 12 volts DC.

This controller in combination with the new thermostat, provides room temperature control instead of return air temperature control which works much better while at the beach with no shade. Lippert support said all future AC units will use room temperature control instead of return air control. I am thrilled the new thermostat and controller are backward compatible for older AC units. Installation was easy. Instructions were useful.
