Question:
I have 2x54AH lithium batteries installed in my truck camper. The lithium batteries do not have built-in warmers for winter. I need to keep them warm in freezing temperatures. Will this item work for this application? Does the heater have a built-in thermostat to turn itself on and off?

The Kat's Heaters Thermal Battery Wraps are not thermostatically controlled, they will turn on when you plug them in and they will turn off when you unplug them. They are not meant to be run continuously so you'll need to keep an eye on them during use. In order to choose the correct size, you'll need to know the battery group number. The part # KH22200 for example works with series 24, 24F, 27, 27F, and 74 automotive batteries. If you have a different series you can reference the link attached below for the correct wrap.
If the none of the battery wraps are a match for your batteries, you can use a more universal battery warmer pad like the Kat's Heaters Battery Heating Pad part # KH22401 but please note these are also not thermostatically controlled either.
