This sturdy steel wheel is made to handle serious weight. With a 4,460-lb maximum load rating and a 16" x 6" rim, it’s built for heavy-duty use where strength and stability matter. The 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern and 4.88" pilot diameter give you a solid fit with common hardware sizes of 1/2"-20 or 9/16"-18 bolts. It’s designed with a modular layout that adds strength where it counts while staying balanced for smooth towing.
Constant retightening is a hassle you don’t need. This wheel’s improved torque retention design uses beveled, uncoated stud holes and a raised center disc to create better clamp force on the hub. That means the wheel stays secure after long trips or repeated use, giving you peace of mind every time you hit the road.

The finish on this wheel goes beyond basic powder coat. A zinc phosphate pre-treatment and e-coat primer form the base, followed by a white acrylic enamel layer that resists chipping and scraping from road debris or curbs better than standard coatings. It delivers excellent corrosion protection with more than 1,000 hours of salt spray performance, so it keeps looking clean even in tough weather or humid conditions.
You can count on this wheel to meet recognized standards for trailer performance. It’s tested and built to SAE J1204 requirements, with quality details like a precisely machined 0 offset and an included valve stem for ready setup. That combination of durability, fit, and corrosion resistance makes it a dependable upgrade for demanding towing needs.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

I can see where receiving the chipped wheel would be disappointing. Customer Service will be in touch with you about it. The wheel is coated with an e-coat primer before being painted on the front side. The back side is not painted as it helps to offer better force retention.
