Do I have to remove the chain clips on the underside of my bumper to install the Curt tow bar? See pics

Good question, and thanks for the photo. I verified for you that the chain hooks on your 2022 Ford Ranger do NOT have to be removed in order to install the Curt hitch that fits, which is the following part number:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13417
The hitch will fit under the chain hooks, and the receiver between them; I have added a photo a customer sent in of the # C13417 installed on their Ranger with the tow hooks so you can see how it will look when installed on your truck.
