This Class III 2" hitch is built for everyday towing and hauling with up to 6,000 lbs of gross trailer weight and 900 lbs of tongue weight. When used with a weight distribution system, the capacity increases to 8,000 lbs GTW while keeping the same 900 lbs TW. It’s strong enough for towing small campers or utility trailers and steady enough for heavier bike racks or cargo carriers.
The fully welded steel hitch bolts right to the vehicle’s frame using factory hardware—no drilling or welding needed. Precision, robotic welding ensures a tight fit and consistent strength across the frame mounts. Installation instructions are included, and most folks only need a basic socket set and torque wrench to get the job done.
The square-tube steel construction is finished with a gloss black powder coat layered over a protective base coat. That combination holds up against corrosion and road grime while keeping a clean look over time. The finish gives the hitch a polished appearance that pairs well with most bumpers and accessories.

The receiver arrived timely and was packaged well.
The installation was pretty easy but I did have some help. We used a couple of clamps to hold the bumper on as we took off the bolts. We used an impact driver to take them off so that helped alot. Once we got the bolts off, we put the receiver in place and bolted everything back together. Entire process was probably 15 mins.
The receiver looks good and seems to be very sturdy so I don't expect any issues
when I need to tow something.

Install went exactly as shown in the video. Loosened the bolts with a breaker bar then spun them out with a impact raised the hitch into position hand started the bolts spun them back in with the impact and torqued them to spec. Now ready to tow my boat. Excellent install.
I ordered a trailer hitch for my 2000 twent. A Ford Ranger on the 20th of November received it, November 22nd and it's already on my truck installed. It's a little hard to install it yourself. But it's duable and I've did it myself long as you've got a couple jacks holders or some kind of blocking to hold the Hitch up till you get the 4 bolts in and that's it..
This Curt trailer hitch receiver is solid! Very heavy duty with a gloss black finish. It bolted right onto my Ranger right out of the box and required zero drilling. The best part was the free shipping was amazingly fast, placed the order on the 27th and installed it on the 29th. Very happy with my choice to go with etrailer!
This trailer hitch worked perfect for my 2022 Ford Ranger with Tremor package. I have the larger Tremor tires so I ran out of space for both the hitch and my spare. Thankfully, I just lowered my spare, finished the hitch install and everything settled in when I tightened the spare back into its place. I'm not overly impressed with the bolt on wiring harness bracket that I had to install after, but it works fine and does the trick. I would recommend this set up for anyone needing a tow package for their Ranger. etrailer was great to work with and provided exceptional customers support.
Installation instructions were great. Especially the use of clamps to hold he bumper in place when removing the four bolts to mount the hitch bar.
Hitch set in place very nicely and bolted up centered to fit my 2019 Ranger took about 15 mins to set and install. Video for the install on you tube matched directions perfectly (if your Ranger did not come with a hitch this is also a great price range ) looks like it was made of good quality material and the welds are good with no gaps. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. GOOD JOB!
I recently purchased a new truck and needed a class3 hitch for it. I shopped everywhere for the best price and best hitch. After watching the video on installing the hitch I realized that it wasn’t rocket surgery and I could do it myself. It actually took longer to find my tools than it did to install the hitch. I was afraid the hitch wouldn’t fit over the chain bracket on my new Ranger. WRONG!!! It fits perfectly. Did I mention that it was delivered less than 48 hours from the time I placed the order? Everything installed okay on my 2020 Ford Ranger XL. The existing bumper and frame bolts were used to mount the Curt bumper. The wiring harness was a quick plug-in.
The Curt hitch was on backorder and arrived much quicker than expected. It was a simple install, only took about 15 to 20 minutes. One note of caution, the torque value in the instruction sheet states 196 ft-lbs, should only be 146 ft-lbs for a 2019+ Ranger. Once installed, it looks great on the truck.

Box came a bit damaged, but the product was good, easy to install, fit perfectly on my Ford Ranger
Easiest receiver hitch I've ever installed! Used two quick clamps to hold the bumper to the frame per the instructions. 1/2" cordless impact gun zipped out the four bumper bolts. While laying under the truck, lifted the receiver up into place. Started one bolt on each side to hold the hitch. Started the two remaining bolts by hand, tightened all four with the impact. Removed the quick clamps, tightened to torque spec with a Snap-On 1/2" torque wrench. Done is less than 10 minutes.
Beware, does NOT fit TREMOR model. Spare tire does not fit probably after hitch.

I did reach out to the manufacturer and while it is a tight fit, it is ok for the spare tire to touch the back of the hitch.
Bolted on easy and works great
Easy installation, 4 large bolts removed, and reinstalled with a Curt hitch, 45 minutes max.

Excellent fit on my 2023 Ford Ranger. My 9 and 12 year old grandson's help me install the hitch in 20 minutes.
Good fit on my 2023 Ford Ranger. Need to mention spare tire must be lowered before installation.
New hitch was delivered quickly. Easy to install. 2019 Ranger has a tab on the bumper and frame that I was able to temporarily use a bolt and nut through to hold the bumper in place while the bumper bolts were removed to position the hitch. I used a floor jack to position the hitch and then bolted it into place. Took about 30 minutes to complete installation.

Hitch has worked out great. Doing its job.
Look, I am no wrench turner, but can do basic automotive tasks. This is easy. I didn't have a torque wrench, a lift or any fancy tools. I lowered my speare tire, used a hollow jack handle attached to my socket wrench, clamped the right and left frame tabs, removed 4 bolts (2 each side), and it fit like a glove. Applied a little bit of grease to the threads and torqued it back in place. As you can see, without the hitch, it is flush and doesn't protrude from the bumper. Made in America! Perfect fit! Easy install. Thanks etrailer!

Have been hauling by boat now for a year it is as solid now as it was the day I installed it. No rust, I expect this will outlast the life of the truck.
The hitch was everything I expected and exactly as advertised. I installed it shortly after it was delivered. It bolted right onto my Ranger pickup and looks as though it came from the factory.
You may be the best customer service oriented business I have ever worked with for anything, period! This may be the only trailer mount I ever order, but if anyone asks you have my loyalty.
