Will etrailer Hitch e63ZR Fit 2023 Ford Ranger Tremor With OEM Rear Tow Hooks?

Question:
need a hitch for a 2023 Ford Ranger Tremor. The 2023 Tremor has the rear tow hooks installed and would like to keep them on the truck. It has the safety chain bracket mounted under there but Im assuming they intend on just adding a ball to the bumper. Will the e63ZR mount and clear? to existing setup?

Hello Rick, thanks for reaching out. I can confirm that the etrailer Class 3 Hitch # e63ZR will fit your 2023 Ford Ranger Tremor and the OEM tow hooks will NOT need to be removed. The hitch will clear easily.
Take a look at the picture below. This shows the Curt # C13417 installed on a Ford Ranger Tremor with tow hooks. The Curt # C13417 is structurally identical to the etrailer # e63ZR hitch, so this is exactly what it will look like after installation.
Our etrailer hitch uses a matte black powder coating versus the gloss black finish on the Curt hitch. We have found the matte black powder coating to be better at resisting scuffs, scratches and chips. It also blends better with the underbody of the vehicle since a lot of the plastic panels also have a matte finish.
