Question:
Hi there, I’m trying to figure out what I’d need to set up my cargo trailer with trailer brakes. It’s a single axle Lippert 3500lb with 15” wheels. I haven’t been able to figure out if there is a kit that has drums and bearings and brakes? Or if I need to try and get each piece individually. Thanks

I have all the parts you will need but there isn't an entire kit to do hubs and electric brakes. To replace the brakes on a Lippert 3,500 lbs axle you will want the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 10" item # 23-26-27. These will work with 15" wheels. This is a set that will do one axles brakes.
We also have the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 10" item # 23-468-469 that will also work. These will not require any tuning or adjustments.
We have multiple options for hubs depending on what bolt pattern your trailer currently has. These all fit a item # L68149 inner bearing and item # L44649 outer bearing.
5 on 5-1/2 - item # 84557UC3-EZ
5 on 4-3/4 - item # 845476UC3-EZ
6 on 5-1/2 - item # 84656UC3-EZ
To control your new brakes and trailer lighting you can use the Hopkins 7-Way RV Style Connector with Molded Cable item # H20046.
You can then use the Trailer Wiring Junction Box item # 3375601101 to organize and protect all of your trailers brake and lighting wires and connect them to your 7-way connector.
You will also need to run item # 12-1-1 from the junction box to your electric trailer brakes. It is a good idea to use Heat Shrink Butt Connectors item # DW05745-10 to keep the connects protected from the elements.
You will also need a breakaway kit. I recommend the Hopkins Engager Push-To-Test Trailer Breakaway Kit with Built-In Battery Charger - Top Load item # 20400.
