Question:

The remote will not open or close the vent but will turn on the fan. Does the motor need replacing and if so, do you have the part? Model 4751KS Ser 2012-4751KS-1437

You will need to test the wiring to determine if the Lift Motor # MA10-20270 is getting power when you press the remote. This will help you determine if the motor is bad or the Printed Circuit Board # MA10A04751KS on your MaxxAir fan.

A Test Light # PTW2993 will allow you to check the wiring without having to disconnect the wiring.
