Troubleshooting MaxxAir 4751KS Vent Lid Not Opening And Fan Running All The Time.

Question:

My maxair 4751KS runs all the time. the vent cover will not open. I see a similar question, though a little different and the answer was to replace the circut board. Is that what I need?

Based on the issue you are having, Yes. A bad circuit board can cause all kinds of weird issues like your fan running all the time and the vent lid not opening.

Since you have the MaxxAir 4751KS you will need the replacement circuit board # MA10A04751KS.

I included a video of the # MA10A04751KS for you to take a look at.

Hello Samuel, here is my issue with the Maxxair 4751ks that will not open or close with 4 key wall mount (PC BOARD) is brand new just purchased couple days ago from you folks, after installing new pc board fan still didn't work i have apply direct power to the lift motor opens as it should but still wouldn't close with wall mount I notice if I remove the fuse from the fuse box and reinsert fuse fan latch will close automatically is there a way to test the wall control please help thank you.
