Question:

Hey there, I just bought this part to replace the 4751KS board on my MaxxFan 4791KS, but after installing and pressing the fan-on button, the fan starts but the motor doesn’t open the lid. I can manually open the lid with the handle, but not with the remote buttons, it only chirps and every once in a while tries to move the lid about and inch but only in certain positions. Any pointers I should look at?

After replacing The Printed Circuit Board for MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus Roof Vents # MA10A04751KS, and the motor still does not open the lid you will need to replace the motor. The Replacement 12-Volt Variable Speed Fan Motor for MaxxAir MaxxFan RV Roof Vents # MA10-20968 will replace the 12-volt DC variable-speed fan motor on your MaxxFan 4791KS.
