Recommended Flat-Towing Wiring Harness for a 2022 Ford Bronco Badlands

I have a 2022 Ford Bronco Badlands. Thanks to your site, I feel well informed on the components I need to flat-tow it. The one thing I could use a little help with is understanding if I should use a Flat-Tow wiring Harness rather than the BX8848 Tail Light Wiring Kit from Blue Ox that I currently have speced. I am also running a supplemental braking system RVi Patriot 3 coming from a previous vehicle. A Flat-Tow wiring harness seems much simpler than splicing the electrical lines in my Bronco, but does that create problems when using supplemental braking system? Or are these things interchangeable? I am familiar with towing trailers with electric brakes, but this is my first flat-tow setup and some things are different enough that I need professional help. Thank you! You guys/gals are awesome!

I would be happy to help you find a wiring harness for your Ford Bronco Badlands but I recommend going with the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267 over both of your options. This diode kit allows you to use your Bronco's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV. The install isn't too complicated, but you will need to cut and splice some wires to connect the diodes and wiring to the 6-pole socket.
I was able to verify this information from Roadmaster but the item # RM-152-LED-7 requires drilling into your rear tail lights which will ruin them. The Blue Ox Tow Bar Wiring Kit item # BX8848 does not include all of the parts you will need.
You'll also want the Roadmaster Universal Stop Light Switch Kit item # RM-751000. This kit will allow you to avoid damage to your Bronco by ensuring that your RVi Patriot 3 supplemental braking system is properly positioned and working effectively. This kit activates your RV monitoring system to alert you when the brakes of your towed car are being applied.
