Question:
We are trying to figure out a flat tow setup for our 2023 bronco. We have the modular bumper and the recovery points, where we hoped to attach a blue ox tow bar, are 24 off the ground. Our RV hitch is only 18.5 from ground to center. How much elevation difference is allowable on the Blue ox tow bar?

For a Blue Ox compatible base plate kit that works with your 2023 Ford Bronco, you will need the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BLU23XR. This kit is custom fit and comes with everything needed to install it on your Bronco. These attach in the same place where your recovery hooks are located. The base plate replaces the recovery points which are not rated to be used for flat towing. I have attached a picture below so you can see what they look like installed.
The tow bar needs to be within 3" of your base plate so you will need to raise your hitch receiver up a few inches to get to this margin. I recommend the Curt High-Low Adapter item # C59KR if you have a 2" hitch and item # RM-058-4 if you have a 2-1/2" hitch on your RV. These high-low adapters will raise your receiver up 4" and put it at 22-1/2" above the ground.
Some other parts you will need to flat tow your 2023 Ford Bronco are listed below:
Tow Bar and Safety Chains - Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar item # BX7380. This tow bar features non-binding latches and a swivel function that makes connecting/disconnecting on any terrain easy.
Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267
Supplemental Braking System - SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251 or item # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes
