Which Battery Terminal Do I install Black Wire Of Curt Trailer Adapter On My 1991 Ford

Question:
The black wire is to be connected to the battery as a power source, via a fuse, should i connect this black wire to the red positive terminal or the black negative terminal?

Per instructions when installing The Curt Trailer Connector Adapter # C57672 on your 1991 Ford the black power cable will need to be attached to the red positive terminal on your battery per the instructions.
This multi-function, vehicle-end connector converts any 4-way flat, vehicle-end plug to a combination 7-way outlet and 4-pole flat outlet.
