I currently have 6 lug hubs on my 3500 lb axles 6 on 5 1/2. Im wanting to replace my axles with ones that have brakes but dont want 5 lug hubs on them since I happen to have new tires and wheels on my current axles 6 on 5 1/2. Can you tell me how to get 6 lug - 3500 lb axles with brakes? 74/89 Thank you

If your 3,500 lb axles have brake mounting flanges then you can simply install the Electric Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA and use the Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K which is compatible with 10" brakes and has the 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern.
For a complete replacement axle that meets your specs you can use the Dexter Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes # 8327820-EB instead. This matches your hub face and spring center measurements as well as the 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern. The higher weight capacity won't be an issue and you'll be able to use the same leaf springs so your suspension won't be more rigid, but you will need to use the U-Bolt Kit # APUBR-8 to accommodate the larger diameter of the trailer axle.
To wire your trailer for the brakes I recommend picking up the Junction Box Kit # HS381-9000, as much 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1 as needed to route the wiring, Butt Connectors # DW05745-10, and then a breakaway kit # 3802346.
