When you’re tired of lifting gear up onto a trailer that sits too high, the 4" drop design on this axle makes life easier. The underslung setup has spring seats welded to the underside, which lowers the deck for faster loading and unloading. You get a more stable stance that’s perfect for steady towing and smoother handling when the trailer’s weight is distributed evenly.
The axle beam isn’t just tough—it’s engineered. Made from high-strength steel with a precision bend that creates a zero camber angle, it keeps tire tread flat to the road for even contact across the width. That means better straight-line tracking, steadier acceleration, and less tire wear mile after mile.
No need to mess with packing bearings. The pre-greased hubs come with bearings, races, seals, and lug nuts already installed. The Easy Grease spindles have built-in grease zerks so you can top things off without tearing everything apart. Once it’s bolted up, you’re set to go without the usual hassle.
The electric brakes on this axle are simple to wire—no actuator or hydraulic lines needed. Each hub-and-drum assembly is certified by CSA, QAI, and SAE-N for tested braking performance under real-world conditions. The cast iron hubs are built tough for long life and consistent stopping power when it counts.
This 3,500 lb axle measures 89" from hub face to hub face and 74" from spring center to spring center. It has a 2-3/8" diameter beam and a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern that fits common 13" to 15" wheels. Everything comes welded in place—spindles, spring seats, and brake flanges—so setup is straightforward and secure from the start.

Worked out excellent, 1 year later no issues.
Part arrived early, great communication from the team at Etrailer through the proccess.
Arrived in good condition; well-packaged. All parts look to be good quality in form, fit, & finish. Easy install.
Super fast shipping, excellent packing to protect the product. I have not opened all the boxes yet but plan to work on the install in the morning.
I was worried about ordering trailer parts from a new company online. Product showed up fast and on time. Beat most other product pricing. A courtesy email was sent when product was delivered, making sure I was satisfied, giving me a direct contact incase I had any issues.
I haven't used the product yet but everything looks good.
Will order trailer product again in the future.

These axles were ordered last Wednesday and arrived this Tuesday. (Missouri to western Idaho.

Measured a few times based on the video and still measured wrong, axle did not fit and hub was damaged, castle nut did not go on correctly,
While the axle and components were a good value, the condition of the brakes when I received them was poor. Several internal components were either out of position or had come loose (during shipping?) In any event, I ended up having to rebuild the brake hardware to get it to function properly. I will also add, that shipping this "bundle" with manually adjustable brakes is unfortunate as the drop axle makes accessing the adjustment star very difficult. Fortunately for me, I had assembled the axle assembly prior to installation. While challenging to do the initial brake shoe adjustment while up on sawhorses in my garage, at least I wasn't under the trailer trying to do it. As I am not the only person voicing this concern, I feel confident in saying that I wish eTrailer could come up with a design that doesn't have this issue.

Axle came with manual adjusting brakes. axle blocks access hole to adjust brakes, making it useless. Need to remove hub every time you need to adjust brake, very time consuming job. Customer service said to order self adjusting brakes. Would lower my review if possible. axle should only be sold with self adjusting brakes!!
