When running a tandem or triple-axle setup, the center hanger takes the brunt of the work. Today we're going to take a look at the 3 1/2 inch tall center hanger for 2 inch wide slipper springs. Now this center hanger is designed to work with multi axle trailer suspension systems that have 2 inch wide slipper springs. This hanger will provide the attachment point for the equalizer. The hanger suspends the equalizer on tandem and triple axle trailers. This is designed for trailers with 3,500 pound up to 9,000 pound axles, and again it does fit 2 inch wide slipper springs. This is designed to work with the 7/8 inch diameter bolt, we do sell them separately on our website. When they give the height on this hanger they say 3 1/2 inches, and what that's measured from is the center of the bolt hole to the top of the hanger.
If we put a ruler on it you can see that's the 3 1/2 inches. Now I do want to give you some overall dimensions on this hanger. The overall height from the very bottom to the very top is going to be right at 4 1/2 inches tall. The width on it, edge to edge, is going to be right at 3 5/8 inches wide. The depth on it is going to be right at 3 inches, and then the inside width right here where the equalizer would go is going to be 3 1/8 inches. Good quality hangers as strong as the originals. easy to weld right back in place with the bolt tolerance good as new. Old ones were very worn and elongated, causing much play and movement, especially on corners. Was very glad to find these parts. Etrailer was quick with the shipping, which I appreciated.

I bought these for my equipment trailer which I over abused to the point that the holes were slots an inch long. These spring hangers are very rugged well made and weld on quite easily. I would buy these again if I need them.
