Question:
I believe the 1lb tank camp stoves are high pressure systems and the female quick-disconnects on RVs are meant for low pressure appliances. Can you shed light on this? I assume for this to work properly it would need to go from the grill to a high pressure female quick disconnect fitting on a line that goes direct to a 20lb propane tank, bypassing the regulator for the rest of the RV. If correct, can you provide an item number for a high pressure female quick disconnect fitting?

The quick connects for propane systems can be used with either high pressure or low pressure propane systems. The quick connect on your RV is going to be low pressure and will not work with your grill that uses a 1lb tank as it has a regulator of its own for the high pressure propane. You will be able to use the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose # 100476-120-MBS if you place the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting # 103613-MBS on one of your propane tanks on the front of your camper. If you have a motor home with a permanently mounted tank you will need the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting # 103537-MBS as it mounts to the different threads on that style tank.
We do carry the Camco RV Olympian 6500 Stainless Steel Grill w/ Quick Connect Hose # CAM57245 if you prefer to use the low pressure connection already on your RV and not have to add the adapters.
