  Hey Mike, Yes, with any valve like that on the # CAM39085 it needs to be lubricated to keep if from sticking or misplacing the seals. Any silicone-based lubricants are recommended for this application. I am not sure exactly what brand Camco uses, but as long as it is a silicone-based lubricant it is going to work well for you. You'll want to check these after any long trips or longer periods of time where you are not using it. Do you travel often and think you will use this a lot?
