Question:
I just bought a tear trailer and plan to install a trailer hitch on my 2014 Suberu Forester. What product should I buy for the Subaru so I can connect to the 7 pin electrical cord from the trailer. thanks in advance.

You'd first need to start with a 4-way like the Tekonsha kit part # 118467 and then convert it to a 7-way since 7-way kits are not available for your vehicle. If your trailer does not have brakes all you'd need is the part # 37185 and you'd be set. If instead you do have trailer brakes you'd need a brake controller to actuate them like the Brake EVN # TK63VR. And instead of the 37185 the part # ETBC7 which comes with all of the parts needed to install a brake controller as well.
