Can The Progressive Dynamics PD4135K Replace A WFCO WF-8725 Power Center

Question:

My current pop up 2012 Viking has the WF-8725 power center. Can I replace it with the PD4135 if I am planning on upgrading to a lithium battery and adding a couple 12V outlets for phone charging, small table fan? Are there other power centres I can use that will charge lithium batteries. Do any of them automatically detect whether a lithium is connected?

the power centers we carry from Progressive Dynamics don't automatically sense for lithium, but instead have a switch to change the charging profile from lead acid to lithium so that you can use it with either battery type. You can definitely change out your WF-8725 with the Progressive Dynamics 4100 Series RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel - 35 Amp # PD4135K, but you'll most likely need to alter the cutout hole for it to fit properly. You'll also want to ensure that you're using the correct wire gauge for the increased amperage of the converter, which is listed in the installation manual.
